De Mortem et Diabolum Festival 2024 took place from December 6 to 7 at Berlin’s ORWOhaus, celebrating its tenth edition with an impressive showcase of extreme metal. The Ruins of Beverast took listeners on a journey through doom-laden black metal landscapes, while Norwegian pioneers Ancient brought a nostalgic yet ferocious performance that honored the early days of the genre.

The festival’s organization was seamless, with performances running on schedule and minimal technical issues. ORWOhaus provided an intimate and immersive setting, allowing fans to experience the music up close while maintaining a strong connection with the performers. The venue’s two bars ensured quick service, keeping long wait times to a minimum.
